career dayOctober 30, 2009 Oh what a proud dad I am today. It’s Career Day at Cayden’s kindergarten. Everyone gets to dress up for Career Day as whatever job they want to have when they get older. A few days ago, we sat Cayden down and said, “ok buddy you get to pick out whatever you want to be when you grow up…then you can dress like that for Career Day.” I listed off about 15 random (but predictable) things…doctor…construction worker…policeman…fireman… He said, “Dad…ok…I want to be a rockstar!” ahhhhh yeahhh!!!! So, needless to say it was alot of fun getting his costume ready for Career Day. We talked about all that we would need. He said he’d need tattoos all over his arm… (sleeve…check). He said he’d need a cut-off white t-shirt with black skinny jeans… (thank you Target for making kids skinny jeans). And big rockstar hair. I told him he’d have to add a cool belt and shoes to the mix for complete rockstarness. So, here’s how he looked heading to school this morning! What a proud dad!! Leave a Reply |
