what a week!October 28, 2009 what a week it has been! it was about this last week that we heard Story wouldn’t be getting a visa. then, a week later she’s eating hummus at our table.. haha, i’m sure she’s thinking…”what a strange food in a strange place with strange people.” she’s improving a bit each day. she’s really comfortable around the boys… her and I have a long way to go. i’m pretty sure she hasn’t hung out with many red-bearded white males before. jamie and Story are heading back to Dell Children’s tomorrow. her pediatrician is worried about the fact she hasn’t used her legs in a long time. (a week). they are doing bone scans to see if there are any infections in the bones. they really want/need to figure out why she’s not using her legs. looks like Jamie/Story will be spending another really long day at Dell. I talked to Amos on the phone last night. It was awesome to talk to my little dude. He misses Story. He said that he loves her. And he can’t wait to see Papa. I’ll see him over Thanksgiving. Alright, kid bed-time.
